Dad was having a good day physically and mentally

Dad was having a good day today, both physically and mentally, and for that I am deeply grateful. His steps were steadier, his movements a little less hesitant, and I could see that his body was cooperating in ways it hasn’t always done lately. Every time he managed to get up, walk, or simply shift with less discomfort, it felt like a gift. These may seem like small things to others, but for us, they are milestones — quiet victories that shine brighter than words can describe.
Mentally, too, he seemed more present and at ease. His eyes carried a spark, his smile came more naturally, and he was able to follow conversations without drifting into the fog that sometimes takes him away from us. It was as though his mind and spirit had decided to meet the day with renewed strength, and that lifted the whole household’s mood.
Seeing him like this reminded me to never take a “good day” for granted. It is proof that healing, even if uneven, is still happening. I hold on to days like these with all my heart — days that give me hope, strength, and faith for tomorrow. 🙏💖🌈
