Even at 93 years old, my dad is still battling sickness. It’s hard to see someone so strong, someone who has carried a family through decades of life’s ups and downs, now having to fight daily just to feel a little better. Age has made him more fragile, but it hasn’t dimmed his spirit. He still tries to smile, still listens to the world around him, and still holds on with quiet courage.
Every moment we have together feels more precious now. I’ve learned to measure time in shared stories, gentle laughs, and the warmth of holding his hand. The sickness may slow him down, but it hasn’t taken away who he is.
